OxBlue Camera

  As we move forward with construction on Ponce City Market, we’ve decided to document it in a way that we can easily share with our neighbors. We’re working with OxBlue, and have set up a camera that will capture a majority of the progress of the exterior of the building. Parking Deck Demolition

  The three story parking deck adjacent to the west side of Ponce City Market was constructed in 1966. Car was king in the 1960’s, and Sears had to be able to provide ample parking for shoppers and employees. The deck provided space for 1,300 cars and replaced the surface parking lot that was original at the opening of the building in the 1920’s. Party at Ponce Tours

This past weekend we gave in-depth tours of the old Sears & Roebuck building for Party at Ponce attendees. Guests were able to see some of the relics that we've pulled from the building, and that we plan on reusing.   We walked folks through the extensive history of the building and the surrounding neighborhoods.
