in The Boiler Room - Central Food Hall, 2nd Floor
Ponce City Market will host Atlanta’s popular lecture series CreativeMornings for the first time, in what will be a seasonally recurring event in The Boiler Room. Kevin Gillese of local improv comedy theatre Dad’s Garage will speak, and Ponce City Market’s Hops Chicken and Spiller Park Coffee will provide breakfast for attendees, provided by generous partner MailChimp. Celebrating its fifth anniversary year in Atlanta, CreativeMornings is a free, monthly lecture series held in cities around the world that aims to connect like-minded individuals and inspire the creative community.
Each month’s lecture adheres to a different theme, with past topics including “Freedom,” “Love,” “Risk,” and “Revolution.” The September 30th lecture will play on the intersection of the theme “Magic” and creativity. Raised in Edmonton, Alberta, speaker Kevin Gillese has toured across Canada, Europe and Australia and has served as Artistic Director of Dad’s Garage Theatre since 2010.
Registration is required for the event and will be open on Atlanta’s CreativeMornings website starting at 9am on Monday, September 26th.
